Puerto Morelos is a relaxed beach town on Mexico's Riviera Maya, located between Cancun and Playa del Carmen. It has a much quieter, more local feel than the big resort zones, while still being easy to get to from the Cancun airport.

One of the best parts of Puerto Morelos is the town itself. The town square is a fun place to wander, with restaurants, small shops, local vendors, music, and a friendly evening atmosphere. It feels casual, walkable, and authentic, with enough going on to make an evening off the resort worthwhile.

For this trip, the location gives us a good balance: a comfortable resort base at Ventus Ha', easy airport access, a quieter beach-town setting, and the option to explore beyond the resort without needing a major excursion.
